NPS Passport Program

The Oil Region Alliance is now a partner in the NPS Passport to Your National Parks Program. Five sites in the Oil Region National Heritage Area are cancellation stations for the NPS Passport Program. They are: Drake Well Museum in Titusville, Venango Museum of Art, Science & Industry in Oil City, DeBence Antique Music World in Franklin, the Pumping Jack Museum in Emlenton, and the Oil Region Alliance office in Oil City, PA.

Drake Well Museum at 202 Museum Lane in Titusville, PA will stamp NPS Passports during normal business hours which are Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from noon to 5 pm from March through December.

Beginning Saturday, April 14, NPS Passports may be stamped at Venango Museum of Art, Science & Industry at 270 Seneca Street in Oil City and DeBence Antique Music World at 1261 Liberty Street in Franklin. Both locations are celebrating "Venango County Museum Day" that day and admission to each site is free. The Oil Region Alliance will stamp NPS Passports that same day from 11 to 1 pm at Venango Museum and at DeBence Antique Music World from 2 to 4 pm.

Beginning April 15, passports may be stamped during normal business hours at Venango Museum. It is open April through December, Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 am to 4 pm. Passports may also be stamped at DeBence Antique Music World during normal business hours: April through October, Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm, and Sunday from 12:30 to 4 pm.

Later in the spring the Pumping Jack Museum at 511 Hill Street in Emlenton will stamp your NPS Passport. The museum is open by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, call the Museum at 724.867.0030, or, Little It Deli at 724.867.8000, or, the Emlenton Borough Office at 724.867.8611.

The Oil Region Alliance of Business, Industry & Tourism will stamp NPS Passports during normal hours of operation, Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 4:30 pm.

NPS Passports are available for sale at the cancellation stations. Adult passports are $9.95 and kids’ passports are $6.95.
